Camp Pinnacle Staff

Our counselor team is the heart and soul of Camp Pinnacle. They are more than just counselors—they are role models, mentors, and friends to our campers. Every new counselor has undergone our extensive interview process, including three interviews, three reference checks, and a complete background check. Every counselor attends a two-week orientation that begins with an emphasis on building a close, inclusive, and caring community. Before orientation, every staff member receives certifications in CPR and wilderness first aid or wilderness first responder.

Outstanding all around! Wynn had such a great experience. We especially appreciate the Camp Pinnacle philosophy and the excellent preparation and training that counselors get—not only to provide great teaching in the activities but to be role models, to build relationships with kids, and to foster friendships and personal growth for campers. She always tells people that she LOVES camp because of her great counselors, her friends, and the outdoor stuff she can’t do here at home. – Christy Miller, Westwood Hills, KS
