Application and Interview Tips

Application tips
  • Use your best communication skills with correct grammar/punctuation/spelling, etc. This will be our first impression of you; make sure it’s a good one!
  • Use professional references. We will be contacting all references listed on your application. Please ensure all email addresses and phone numbers are correct for an efficient and professional recruitment process. Do not list family members or friends as references.
  • Think about your answers and take your time. You can always come back to your application. Please upload a smiling headshot, as this photo may be used to introduce you on our website if you are ultimately hired.
Interview tips
  • Be prepared. Whether your interview is in person, via Skype, or over the phone, ensure that you are on time and have done your research. Check out our website and understand our mission and goals. The interview is an opportunity for you to understand whether Camp Pinnacle is the right fit for you.
  • Please be punctual. We ask applicants to call our office for our phone interviews. When you call, be sure to say your name, who you are calling, and why you are calling.
  • Think through your responses. A lot of our interview questions are based on real and hypothetical situations. Take your time and think about your answer. Always be truthful—we want to get to know the real you.
  • Ask questions. Make sure you come prepared with your own questions about camp. This shows that you are a serious applicant who is looking for the best camp environment for you. Do not hesitate to ask us for clarification.
