October 1 at Camp

Were it not for the slowly changing leaves, and failing light, one would think it was still summer at Camp Pinnacle. Today the water slide was humming, kids were canoeing on the lake, Mike and Richard were cooking in the Kitchen and evening activity was Rainbow Tag.

In fact, there were only 6 days in all of September when Camp was not in use! Between school programs and weekend weddings, we are having a lot of fun sharing Camp Pinnacle with others. We have seven more school programs in October, ending on Halloween. Then we will quickly start thinking about how excited we will be to see our 2015 campers next June 14th!

Despite all of the activity, our facility specialists: Tom, George, Will and Alaska have been hard at work making Camp better for next summer. There is already a beautiful new floating dock and Hiawasee and Tuckasegee ( the youngest girls’ cabins) are getting their very own tree house complex. We will be revealing a long list of exciting new improvements throughout the year in our quest to make summer 2015 – Pinnacle’s 86th summer – the best one ever!

If you haven’t signed up yet for summer 2015, do so by October 31st. You can still save $100 on tuition and you’ll get a cool Camp Pinnacle clothing item in time for the holidays!
