Two-week Sessions

This is our classic Camp Pinnacle session, and families are always amazed at what our campers accomplish in just 13 days. This is hardly a starter camp. In two weeks, every one of our campers rafts a whitewater river, camps out overnight, summits a mountain, and mountain bikes on forest trails. They’ll participate in more than 40 different camp activities, make great friendships, learn from impressive role models, and grow in ways they never could at home or school. (Read about our philosophy on the Great 8 Outcomes and 5 R’s here.)

Junior Camp

This session is specifically tailored to first- or second-year campers between the ages of 6 and 12. Junior camp allows campers to try a variety of in-camp activities while experiencing independence away from home. This session is meant to help campers feel comfortable attending longer sessions where they are able to build skills such as our 5 R’s and make long-lasting friendships.

Leadership Program

This program is for current 9th-, 10th-, and 11th-graders and will run concurrently with our traditional camp. Leadership Campers are able to enjoy the traditional fun of camp, have the ability to create their own activity schedules, and work as a team to design and “lead” their own backpacking trip. We feel the most important aspect of this new program will be the daily lessons focused on building the life and leadership skills that prepare them for young adulthood (including college and career challenges). They will include topics such as having a growth mindset, managing your relationship with your phone, dealing with failure, and more. Leadership Campers will also have opportunities to work with younger campers and contribute to the camp experience by helping with various camp-wide tasks, like serving meals and setting up special events. Each task has been thoughtfully planned to ensure campers are gaining skills and perspective on what responsibility and leadership look like at Camp Pinnacle and beyond. Since Leadership Campers will be helping with specific aspects of camp, tuition will be 10% off the regular cost.

*Leadership spots are secured by completing a camper application and scheduling a phone call between your camper and a director.

All-inclusive Camp Tuition

Your tuition includes everything except transportation to and from camp. There are no hidden fees* or gear or activity rental fees. We do not have a canteen that sells snacks; rather, fruit and other snacks are given out every day before and after lunch. We want you and your camper to feel like you’re a part of our family, rather than a customer—we’ll treat your kids as we treat our own.

Cancellation Policy

Payments are 100 percent refundable prior to November 30, 2023. From December 1 to March 1, payments are refundable, minus a $500 cancellation fee. For cancellations after March 1, payments are non-refundable. If a participant withdraws voluntarily or is sent home as a consequence of unacceptable behavior, no refund of any type will be granted. It is the parents’ responsibility to cover any additional travel expenses.
