We have heard that a few of you are already out of school and counting the days, minutes, and seconds until Camp Pinnacle opens, so we thought you might like to see a video of what’s new at camp!
We are feverishly getting ready for our campers. Richard has opened the kitchen (the new dining hall is beyond beautiful), our brand-new, 2017 15-passenger Ford vans are here, and our outdoor trip leaders are currently in the middle of their orientation. Several counselors have arrived early to prepare activity areas and help our facilities team finalize last-minute projects. Lifeguard training and wilderness first aid courses begin soon, and all-staff orientation commences on June 1. After months of planning, we are excited for the summer to finally begin.
We’d like to formally thank Tom, George, James, Steve, Chris, and Danny, our facilities team, for all of their hard work this winter. The Pinnacle campus has never looked better, and those of you who have been with us for multiple summers will see many improvements when you arrive. We made a video to better convey all that will be new this summer!
