Head of riflery
Ed is a certified instructor in basic rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting. He is also a certified range safety officer and has an expert rating. He is especially dedicated to teaching the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for young people to understand and safely handle firearms. Ed holds a master’s degree in metallurgy from Pennsylvania State University and brings 39 years of experience in technical and program management for the DuPont, Westinghouse, and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions companies. He retired from the Savannah River National Laboratory in 2010 where he was a senior advisory engineer. Ed has been active as a youth baseball and basketball coach and has served as the chairman of the board for the Aiken County United Way. Ed and his wife, MaryAnne have six grandchildren.
